The position of the carburetor is such that the original air filter box can only be used in a limited way. The easiest way is to use a foam air filter (Art. No. 7671197 or the Evergreen intake hose).
Under certain circumstances the sealing surfaces of intake manifold and cylinder inlet have to be adapted to each other. The best way to do this is to use an inlet gasket as a template and adjust the areas with the Dremel.
Included is a M7 screw that replaces the long stud bolt. When using the screw, the engine does not have to be lowered to remove the intake.
