Attention: the holders are made of normal steel (not stainless steel) and deliberately not further treated for a beautiful patina, matching the original old paint.

Provided is a mounting in the leg shield, alternative locations are of course also possible, eg on the tunnel instead of the spare wheel holder or in the spare wheel itself. 1-3 holes must be drilled for the leg shield mounting. In principle, the mounting must be realized in any case independently of the mounting location itself. Alternatively, we recommend our holder V5 or V6.

The holder is designed so that there is still some air around the standard cans. Thus, a strip of foam rubber or similar can be attached between the can and the holder, which minimizes any vibrations that may occur. The supplied leather strap is threaded through the existing slotted holes and the can is lashed with it. (see pictures). It also minimizes the vibration of the can in the holder itself.
