Description
Malossi replaces the aging 166cc cylinder with a completely new design. For the first time with a grey cast iron cylinder, Malossi now also uses a bore with Ø63mm and reaches 177ccm. The channel design has been completely revised and the cylinder offers large flushing surfaces in combination with a very moderate outlet window width.

The piston has also been redesigned and due to the large overflow channels it largely dispenses with the old CVFII system which used a piston with holes below the piston roof as a flushing surface.
The cylinder head uses a modern designed combustion chamber which should be run with a recommended pinch point of 1.2mm. The head is intended for use with long thread spark plugs (B9ES, W2CC, etc.).
Please deburr the piston and cylinder windows in the raceway before assembly (key file and/or sandpaper).
NOTE: Also fits models with Elestart (electric starter)
