A major advantage of the BGM PRO crankshaft over an original one is the use of a high-quality connecting rod with needle bearing (instead of a plain bearing bush) and a slotted lower connecting rod eye. This significantly reduces the oil requirement so that the engines can also be run with a 1:50 mixture with today’s high-quality oils without any problems.
The balance factor has been improved by, among other things, a hollow-bored crankpin and is based on the original Tarabusi pistons of the Spanish engines
The crankshaft is suitable for all 125cc and 150cc Motovespa Largeframe and Vespa VNA engines. The 125cc engines only have a stroke of 54mm ex works, so a cylinder designed for 57mm stroke is required here.
