The auxiliary shaft offered here for Vespa large frame engines (e.g. PX, Cosa, Rally), have a sportier gear gradation than original. The fourth, or even the third gear is therefore shorter, so that the gear steps are smaller and the engine remains in the full power range after the shifting process. This makes it ideal for high performance engines where the engine speed has to be kept at a constant high level in order to develop full propulsion at all times.

The Benelli auxiliary shafts can be used with the original gear wheels of the PX/Cosa125-200 models.
